Granite Rapids Moon Fundraiser for OEI!

Granite Rapids Moon Fundraiser for OEI poster

Let’s enjoy a family-friendly movie together while supporting Leave No Trace, honoring Climate Week, and with a portion of the proceeds going to OEI to further its mission!

The production team has graciously chosen OEI to receive a portion of box office receipts from the 6:45pm Saturday September 26th screening of Granite Rapids Moon at Manlius Cinema (135 East Seneca Street).

The first narrative feature film ever to shoot the majority of its footage inside the Grand Canyon, Granite Rapids Moon was made with permission and oversight from the National Park Service using only the equipment that cast and crew could carry on their backs through 82 miles of hiking. In other words, they made a film while leaving no trace. It is a family-friendly movie, with no sex, nudity, violence, guns, drugs, or particularly harsh language.

The more people that our organization brings out to the screening, the more box office receipts are donated to OEI! This is measured simply by a show of hands from those who heard about the event from OEI. So please come out and show your support with a simple raise of the hand, and enjoy a great film while doing so!
